A natural solution for healing

Our salt cave is man made- a recreation of the natural environmental conditions of an underground salt mine. This type of therapy originated in Eastern Europe when monks noticed when they treated patients in salt caves, their respiratory symptoms improved. Salt therapy clinics were opened in Poland in 1843, after it was discovered that salt mine workers had better health and immune system function than that of the cole-mine workers. In 460 B.C., Hippocrates recommended salt inhalation as a respiratory treatment and used salt and water to cure skin diseases.
